GA4 Consultant
I’m Ali Ghajar — a UK-based GA4 consultant. If you don’t fully trust your own analytics dashboard, that’s exactly the problem I fix, working directly with you, not a handed-off account team.
What I Actually Check
Event & conversion audit
I check what's actually firing, once per action, and whether your Key Events reflect real purchase intent — not a mix of page views, sign-ups, and noise that dilutes every conversion report.
Ecommerce tracking validation
Purchase events, revenue values, and product-level data compared directly against your Shopify or platform order data — not assumed correct because the dashboard shows a number.
Cross-platform reconciliation
Why GA4, Google Ads, and your ad platforms show different numbers for the same period — and which one (if any) you should actually trust for a given decision.
Attribution model fit
Whether your current attribution setup makes sense for your sales cycle and channel mix, or whether it's quietly overcrediting one channel at another's expense.
Why I Do This
I’ve cleaned up GA4 setups where the Key Events list was polluted with page-view and about-page events that had nothing to do with purchase intent — making conversion reports actively misleading. The fix wasn’t a new tool; it was removing the noise and defining what actually counts as a conversion for that specific business. That’s the kind of fix I do: not dashboards for their own sake, analytics you can actually make decisions from.

Why does GA4 show different numbers than Shopify or Google Ads?
Each system uses different attribution windows, different handling of cookie consent and ad blockers, and different definitions of a conversion. The mismatch is structural — the fix is agreeing on a source-of-truth hierarchy for decisions, not chasing perfect number-matching.
Do you just run a one-off audit, or ongoing work?
Most engagements start with a fixed-scope audit so you have a clear, written diagnosis. Some clients stop there; others move into ongoing measurement work once the foundation is fixed.
Is this GA4 setup, or GA4 troubleshooting?
Both — new setup for stores that don't have reliable tracking yet, and troubleshooting for stores whose GA4 already exists but nobody fully trusts the numbers it shows.
Do you work with server-side tracking too?
Yes, where cookie loss or ad-blocker impact is materially affecting data quality — though it's not the default starting point for every engagement.
